Pool Table Nude—Count The Money
In this image, I was after the “bad girl” attitude. I tried out many poses, but loved this one the best because I was able to capture the cigarette smoke as the model exhaled.

Capturing smoke in an image is not difficult, especially when light strikes it from an accent light from the back.
Camera: Olympus E-300 (yes, a $300 camera), Lens: Olympus Zuiko Digital 50mm F/2 Lens with Olympus 1.4x convertor (eff. 140mm), Shutter Speed: 1/160, Aperture: F/5.6, ISO: 100, White Balance: 6000K, Lighting: In the article and set-up photo.
This image is simply lit with two lights. The accent light is a large Chimera Super Pro Strip box attached to a Hensel Integra 500 Pro Plus monolight that provides a large swath of accent light from behind and across the model. The second light, the main light, was a Hensel Porty Premium (battery pack) with a Hensel flash head, fitted with a Chimera Super Pro Plus Softbox with a Lighttools 40-degree fabric grid attached to the front of it.
